Dr. Jill Herring

I was raised in tiny Fontana Kansas, where I and my family were very active with horses and the sport of rodeo. The rigors of the sport, along with a car accident, led me to seek the advice and care of chiropractor to relieve pain. It was this early exposure to the benefits of Chiropractic care that led me to a career dedicated to helping people improve their health so they can enjoy life. I attended college at NEO in Miami, OK where I competed on the college rodeo team and graduated with honors with an Assoc. in Applied Sciences degree. I finished up my undergrad requirements at Pittsburgh State University and Park College. I received my Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City with honors in 1994.

Upon graduating from chiropractic college, I began practicing with Dr. Yandell in Edmond, OK. I moved to Guthrie, OK, and opened up my own practice in July of 1995. I enjoyed providing health care services to the residents of Guthrie and its surrounding communities for 12 years. I relocated to southwest Oklahoma in 2007 and enjoy providing chiropractic services to Fletcher, Elgin and surrounding areas from my office located in Fletcher, Oklahoma.

I am still greatly involved with horses and competition in the sport of barrel racing. Due to this involvement, I am also certified in Animal Chiropractic. I completed the education and training and requirements for this specialty at the Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic. I then successfully passed the IVCA examination to receive my certification in animal chiropractic from the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. Most of my animal chiropractic practice is comprised of horses and dogs, but I’ve also worked on the bovine and swine species as well.

I love being able to help both people and animals improve their health, function, and ability to enjoy life to the fullest by providing them with the benefits of Chiropractic Care!
